Maendeleo na Wakati Kilolo (MAWAKI) is a non-governmental organization headquartered in Ng’uruhe village, Kilolo District, Iringa Region. We began our journey in 2003.

Though hosted on the grounds of the R.C. Church, MAWAKI is an independent entity serving everyone regardless of religion or political affiliation. We operate based on dignity, transparency, and accountability.

By maintaining our independence and prioritizing transparency, we design and implement targeted projects that foster self-reliance and deliver measurable, sustainable impact for the people of Kilolo.

Where We Make a Difference
Health

Improving community health through the “Tabasamu” clinic, “Lift for Life” transport for pregnant women, and the Vulnerable Fund.

Education

Running 8 early childhood development centers for over 460 children, sponsoring students, and improving school infrastructures.

Agriculture

Operating the Dabaga Institute of Agriculture (DIA), a NACTEVET-accredited college offering certificates and diplomas.
